“Respect for Biodiversity,” is a poster about biodiversity and challenges the notion that humans hold superiority over other living beings. In this work, I drew inspiration from the timeless tale of Noah’s ark, symbolizing the unity of all creatures. Birds, animals, insects, and aquatic beings are illustrated boarding the ark, emphasizing the richness and diversity of life on Earth. Humans, however, are intentionally depicted waiting in a random spot in the boarding line and labeled “No First Class for Humans.” I send this message that humans do not hold a position of privilege or dominance over other species. The poster serves as a reminder that we must respect and coexist with all living beings.
