“God of Seigfred Hall” is a set of large murals, designed for the School of Art + Design in Ohio University. This set of murals works as a visual guide which navigates people to the different parts of the building and shows them their location. This project follows a fictional story created by the designer. In this story, Seigfred Hall is managed by a main god who has four children. Each child is assigned to manage each floor and named based on its mission.
God of Seigfred Hall has some children who are responsible for managing each floor with the cooperation of their soldiers.
The fifth child is the “God of Imagination”. It manages the fifth floor which is dedicated to Painting students. It hides behind doors, benches and walls, finds Painting students alone, catches them in one second and sucks them in. It consumes, digests and emits high quality paint from their brain.
The fourth child is the “God of Transformation”. It manages the fourth floor. The fourth floor is dedicated to Graphic Design students. It transforms itself frequently from one shape to another shape, from one media to another media. If Graphic Design students see it, they must escape before It transforms them.
The second child is the “God of Replication”. It manages the second floor. The second floor is dedicated to Printmaking students. It steals printing emulation, drinks it, replicated and sends its different versions throughout the Printmaking studios. You can never recognize which version is its main version.
The first child is the “God of Dynamism”. It manages the first floor. The first floor is dedicated to sculpture and ceramic students who usually work with oven and fire. It loves to sleep in ovens during the night to recharge. All Sculpture or Ceramic students should be careful to not awake it because It may burn them.
